[oh_my_hat]

A friend of mine told me today about www.kazaa.com and he was told it was quite a good site for downloading mp3, video clips, movies etc, etc.

Does anyone here use this peer to peer file sharing software and if so what are the pros & cons. I currently use audiogalaxy (having a few problems with it), Morpheus & Aimster (which I quite like too).

I would be very interested in your thoughts/recommendations.

the spyware is opt-in, so you can choose not to install it. otherwise kazaa is the same as morpheus.

If you want Kazaa but don't want the spyware, do a search on downloads.com for a program called "ad-aware" or something to that effect and install it. It will remove any spyware on your computer.

Thanks for the feedback. I already downloaded and installed kazaa and realised as soon as I ran it that it looked exactly like Morpheus. Not sure if I installed the Spyweb software. If I have and I uninstall kazaa will that also uninstall this software too if it is bundled with kazaa?

Doubt it. Spyware probably stays on the comp. My suggestion is get the program ad-aware.
