Who still uses this piece of crap?

I used to download a song here and there, but these days I don't use it anymore. It puts so much crap onto your computer, slows everything down so much and with a dialup connection it usually downloads at about a snails pace (ie less than 1 or 2K per second).

Just the same as I used to download music videos a bit but now I just buy the DVDs - way better quality.

I think the internet could be a good way of getting and testing out music, but because of all the people who abuse the system and download full albums constantly I hope they chop them down a bit.

Yeah use it all the time.

Mostly for *ahem* films, but download some music now and then. Very handy for some hard to get stuff, or stuff you can't be frigged waiting a month to get on order.

I use Kazaa. Other than it slowing down the general internet speed sometimes, I have no problems with it. I only occasionally get a file that downloads at less than 1kb/s (mine normally downloads at around 4kb/s) but it's usually just the particular file and I try another version.

I use Kazaa, mostly when I think of a song and want to listen to it again, or hear it for the first time, then I'll download it and if I want it I'll go buy the artists' CD. My boyfriend also uses it for the same reason, he downloads a LOT more than I do though!

There is a version of Kazaa, called Kazaa Lite, that removes some of the ads and spyware, and you can then get a patch or somthing to get rid of the rest.

But everybody should use ODc...
