Keep Jacobs at Carlton!

I'm sorry guys if people think I'm wasting precious space and time with this new thread. I have created a facebook page to keep Jacobs at Carlton. I don't know the ins and outs of this situation and whether Jacobs himself wants to leave our club, but it killed me to see him crying after the loss on the weekend.

If it is not up to Jacobs, I want the CFC to know that we think he is going to be the next tap ruckman in our premiership side!

Personally i'd offer to help pack Hampson's bags. Jacobs is that far ahead it's not funny.

I think it is great we have 4 big men that can play seniors and all have huge upside.

Kreuzer,Warnock, Jacobs, Hampson

Not a bad problem to have.I would like to keep all 4.

If we can get a marquee player that can play a KPP , then we may not have a choice.

Jacobs is miles ahead of Hampson.

The likelyhood of Hampson becoming the gun we all hope for is about 25%... there's a 75% chance he will still have saucepan lids for hands in 3 years time.

Jacobs' output is already at a high level. His worst games will still be ok... his best very good. Can take a big grab, and gets enough of the ball around the ground. A much safer bet to stick with Jacobs, particularly when Kreuzer and Warnock have shown they can rotate between ruck and forward... all three can play in the same side IMO.

If we could sell someone on Hampson's potential to get us something we need, I wouldn't be too opposed. I'd love the guy to be a star for us, but we have greater needs, and he's 4th on the depth chart.

such a situation could/should see kreuzer played as a permanent forward, allowing waite to go back and warnock and sauce rotating ruck duties. next year has me seriously excited
