He's a bandogge & no he has to share the couch, he has his own bed, when I have time I will post a pic of him on it.

Unfortunately that's his favourite pastime chilling out, he doesn't like playing fetch, he only runs after it & brings it back once, if I throw it a second time he just looks at me as if to say, if you keep throwing it away, then you can get. :D

He takes after his Dad, a very big lazy Neo Mastiff. :(

Jake's cute too, looks a bit more energetic than Kenny though, mind you he is six & a half now, so he is middle aged.

I think Zeke's dog was called Jake as well.

Energetic is not the word :(

I took him to puppy school... he went absolutely nuts.. not with the other puppies but with the other owners... he just jumps on everyone and wants to meet all the owners first and lick them stupid.. then he starts playing with the other puppies. On their report card they put "Jake is extremely boisterous" I always thought Labrador/Golden Retrievers were supposed to be placid dogs!!! but Jake is the most energetic puppy I have ever seen!!!! Those foam boxes in the pic are to stop him completely chewing through the cables on my tv as he has already done once.... He's 1 year old in 8 days! I hope he starts to calm down soon :D

AH yes, the misconception that Labs & Retrievers are placid, :D when they are pups they are exactly like Jake, though they tend to settle down around 2 if they are trained, I suggest you take him to obedience, so he learns not to jump on people & the basic commands of sit, stay, come & drop.

Tigger who is my dog, loves to play fetch.

He has got a soft plush footy that is pink and white. He brings it to me all the time.
I have got a pic of tigger and my cat who is no longer with us

Yeah I can get him to sit and come and drop on command... but only when he is with me... if other people are around he is too excited to hear a word I've said

That is why you need to take him to obedience, so he learns to just focus on you & what you are saying, he has to learn to obey you when there are other distractions around, otherwise it's pointless.

Hahaha sounds exactly like my lab when she was a puppy! She's nearly 9 now though :( and is slowing down heaps. At puppy school she didn't care about the other dogs, she was obsessed with paddling in the dogs' water bowl and then tipping the bowl over on the floor. Your dog is so cute, like all labs!! :D
