yeh and i can eat my neighbours leftovers from dinner for free

i have pride and work hard to eat quality and the rfc should have some pride once in a while and work a bit harder instead of getting leftovers

its old news anyway and im over it but when people start these threads i cant help it lol

But Jenifer Hawkins aside, who would you have taken instead of KK?
 
I know you may think its a joke right now but he starts training agin next week got his plaster off last friday so he is not far of .

give me a batsanis or adams or vasilveski etc anyday

those kids could never play a game but atleast we could of tried and developed them into something half decent

i dont care what anyone says i just dont buy into the graham/kingsley mentality of get your kids to earn a game to me it just puts back the development and we are paying for the graham recruitment now trying to rush in mcguane because hall is injured and gaspar is a dud

But surely fighting for a place in the side over a proven senior player has to have some merit. Re McGuane, if we are rushing him now, what would 2005 have been when got Graham, given what happened to him last year against the Swans.

Given that KPPs take a bit longer to mature as players, I think recruiting players of the same ilk, Hughes -KK, Graham - McGuane, in order to give them time to develop is a smart move.

What you guys don't appreciate is the negative impact a dud KP forward can have on the games of your other forwards as well. Kent might not only have several weeks of 0 or 1-2 goals, but he continually stuffs up the leads and blocks space of other forwards, costing his team several goals per game. This happened repeatedly at Geelong. You have to ask yourself WHY Geelong were so keen to delist him and WHY no other team was interested in acquiring his services. Watch a few games of Kent in action, especially toward the business end of any season, and you'll know why. :)

Except I can't recall deLuca kicking 48 + goals in his last 3 full seasons (48, 57,57). I suspect if he did you would be raving about him.

KK WAS NOT KICKED OUT
get ur facts str8, he left the cats , and everyone knows why
had nothing to do with form, as his form was hot b4 he fell out of flavour with Thompson. its not KK's fault that Thompson f around with his personal life and destroyed his season at the cats

so , get it right, KK was not kicked out, and could get a game but was never picked because Thompson is a total f up
ackland - saints are not shattered as they have a "real ruckman now" whereas the blues now have 2 pretenders , ackland and joke

BTW, grant Thomas, said on sen some real interesting things about ackland on radio, things that Carlton ppl would have wanted to know b4 they picked him and now prob wish they never did!
