At selection 6 in 2003, Bradley has probably not shown what he is exactly capable of. I think the 2007 will be a big improvment year for him. Thoughts?

This next 2 years will be the making of Bradley. Should be a good player. Can only be judged in the next two years as he has now had his development time. Lets see if he can step up.

Interesting that the 2003 draft was very very poor for KPP's. Zac Dawson was at 41 and we know how well he is going.

Don't think it's a debate whether he has fulfilled his potential, it's whether or not he will fulfill it. He's nowhere near it yet. But I still have faith in Kep.

He bloody well better hope so! Not impressed from what I have seen so far. Thought he was going to be awesome after his first year but imo seemed to have got worse rather then better

Keep him away from the power forwards - play him as a winger or HFF. He is no good in defence and not a Fletcher clone

That's right, just because he is built like Fletcher (probably not a good thing) doesn't mean he can play like Fletch.

Kinda makes you think how skillfull Fletch is, he drags around that gangly frame and is still so bloody good.

Damn straight. He is far better than Glass. Fletch should have been the all australian fullback last year.

no he shouldn't have. how can the 15th placed team's full back be the best in the league (for that year)? i love fletch and i'm not underestimating him, but glass dominated every full forward last year.

Yeah, but Fletch had a heap more ball coming into the Bombers' defensive 50 compared to Glass due to the Bombers getting flogged in the midfield whereas the Eagles dominated in the midfield. Plus I reckon Fletch gave far better rebound from the back 50. I am not saying Glass is a bad player, in fact he is very good, but I reckon Fletch was better.

Bar a game or two here and their, he hasnt particularly impressed me since the first few rounds of '05.

fletch would have had more than twice the amount of goals kicked on him than glass. although that may not have been all his fault, they go against his name.

You and that bloody avatar! ;)

Statistically, Fletcher was actually the #1 fullback last year, using the rating system in the Herald Sun, he did a hell of a lot well last year including leaving his man to help out teammates

racking up possessions doesn't make a good full back though. glass wouldn't get anymore than 10 possessions a game.

don't get me wrong i love fletch. but sometimes you have to give some other guys some credit.

I dont think anyone is taking anything away from Glass' ability, but Fletch has always been my number one FB, since Daniher. Id argue that we've had the best 2 FBs in the competition in the last 20 odd years.

i won't disagree with that.
also people are forgetting how good big mal is. he will be a huge difference from last year. we now have two of the top 3 full backs in the past 7 or 8 years.

I think the reason Bradley has failed to fulfil his potential is that he has been abused as a player. He started out as a backman has been played forward and also ruck. He needs a year in the magoos to make a name for himself somewhere on the park (hopefully defence given Fletch and Mal arent here forever) and then when hes brought back to senior footy he needs to be kept in his position. Fair enough for him to ruck a game here or there if laycock goes down in the 1st quarter and Paddy aint plaing otherwise let him solidify himself!

Generally, I would agree with that rule, except he's been with us for a while now and we really do require his services as a tall. Its up to him to take that next step...the seconds would be a step back in his development at this stage.

having hille, laycock, lloydy, scotty, cj, fletch and big mal is enough talls.

he may get a game though as laycock will miss round 1 and hille may be suspended.

Lloyd, Lucas and CJ would have to remain up front to gie us every chance of stretching their backlines and kicking big scores, Mal and Fletch would have to remain down back to keep our main dangers quiet....Hille, Ryder and Laycock are not exactly mobile talls and would be more serviceable forming formidable ruck combinations....whcih is something we've lacked since Madden and Barnes in recent times. Gumbleton is too young, which leaves us Bolts (tongue firmly in cheek) and Bradley.

if the option is kepler or bolts
my answer is..........
none of the above
