Kevin Sheedy's Book

Hey guys. Congrats on a pretty good year so far. Just wanted to ask something about Kevin Sheedy's biography. Unfortunetly something is wrong with my dad's brain and he likes essendon , so i thought id get him James Hird's and Kevin Sheedy's autobiographies for his birthday. But when i went looking (selection of AFL books is limited here in Sydney), the only biography on Sheedy i found was one written by Tim Watson? Is that the only one going around? Because i was under the impression that Kevin Sheedy actually wrote his own autobiography. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

That's right, my dad has it. The Jigsaw Man. I haven't read it yet but I've read Hird's book and thought it was fantastic.

there both good reads mate i got them both...... i feel the tim watson one is the better book. i could sit there and read it 3 times without getting bored.... it a book with different people opions that why i like it..... not everybody likes sheeds and this books tells it all...

the hirdy book is good as well

Sheeds book is an excellent read, he gives his own account and opinions of most situations plus the stories from many other personalities

Sheedy`s first book is a reasonable read, full of excuses but not a bad read. His second one " Pockets of Greatness" makes a fantastic door stop. The one Watson did on him is probably the best of the three.

Thanks guys. No doubt i will be reading them both too as both are champs of the game and should be goood reads. So just to confirm though, the best book on Kevin Sheedy is Tim Watson's one?

Tim watsons book is a great read, hard to put it down. It is doing the rounds right now can't wait to get it back to read again.
