Is it just the one here or has the standard of their chips gone downhill recently. Over the last month or so have been there about 3 times and my friends have been there a couple more times and we generally like to have a bit of salt on the chips. Anyway, we requested after we tasted them that there was no salt on them and asked if we could have some, only to be told they don't do that anymore.
The other 2 times there was also no salt on them, went back the last time and the girl did say she would put some on, but didn't and the chips have started to taste a bit lit the ones from Red Rooster.

Just wondering if anyone else has found this?

I had KFC on Wednesday and noticed the exact same problem. They must be cost cutting if they can't afford to put the chicken salt on the chips. Maybe Red Rooster will overtake them in the best chip department.

lol what a pack of titear$es! cant afford to put *extra* salt on the chips!

not that its *extra* if theres fk all on them to start off with!

Regional difference is a huge factor in KFC taste quality.

Country outlets like Port Augusta and Port Pirie taste fresher, I suppose because the turn over isn't so high (oil etc.)

Always go to the Bourke Street outlet rather than Swanston Street, that one is the worst ever.

The potato and gravy is crap at Chapel Street.

Crown Casino is one of my personal favourites. The Dandenong one is okay too.

Mini-outlets like you get in food courts are usually pretty average, with stringy fillets in the burger.

And I too have noticed the chips are less salty and also squashy and average.

In England you can get baked beans with it!

Moh. If I eat KFC, I have to teach you about real food. Food that doesn't have to be deep-fried to be edible.

Yes, it does exist!

I know it does exsist and I enjoy it just as much as KFC. However not always do I have the time to eat real food!

You haven't lived until you've had prosciutto crudo. You wouldn't believe what they can do with a pig in this country.......
