I know it is impossible for the Optimistic and Pessimistic(Realistic) supporters to get along but at the moment I can see where Rosy is coming from with her form of moderation. And I hate understanding it.

We dont all have to agree but the constant ridicule that is coming from both sides is starting to give me the complete and utter shits. I ask both sides to back off and if you dont agree with something ,unless you have a constructive point to make, dont post. If your post is going to be along the lines of 'Well your a Wallace fan' or 'Just quit the club then' , just dont post it. There is no way in a community this wide spread that every one is going to agree so if all you are going to post is a contradiction then just dont post it.

We are all disappointed with their performance on the weekend , we are all hurting but Ferals GIVE it a ____ing rest. Enough is enough.

Think before you post. If you are just posting to get a response use the Fishing threads that is what they are for.

The realistic note was from an argument I had years ago on PRE with PRR over the difference between Pessimism and Realistic nothing to do with you at all RT. You are in general very even in your appraisal and rebuttals which is the point I was trying to make.

i do agree in theory though - i have (and love) a good heated debate - as long as you have some reason behind it that makes some sort of sense.

On this board I try not to get personal because we're all one in the same i.e. long suffering Richmond supporters although some have suffered a lot longer than others.

Occasionally though frustration does get the better but I always try and blow off steam without crossing the line.

It does get painful reading this board when every second post is a Richmond supporter making a personal attack on another Richmond supporter just because they are a little more optimistic about our future. Debates are great but some people can't seem to debate using evidence and instead have to resort to namecalling.

A subforum for internal conflict would be good. We could have all those light side vs dark side threads banished there.
