ok kidd is good, very good. That good that I thought I might start a thread up about him:D

Seriously its out of these two for MVP.If kidd can get the nets to finish at the top of the east by a fair margin he might get the nod.The voters in the past have leaned towards the player with the best winning record.Garnett is in great form and has sustained it for the whole season.very very close.Davis is out of the race and TD will have to really fire up soon to be in contention.

your thoughts?

I can't split them.

KG is playing on a team with more talent, but also in a tougher conference.

Both players deserve it, however if Kidd continues to dominate (another 32 points today) and the Nets continue to get over their slump, Kidd might finally get what he deserves.

Statistically Garnett romps it in.

If he doesn't take the Wolves deep into the playoffs with the help he has now got, then it's not quite so clear cut.

KG... !

KG easily.. hes going for rediculous stats like 25/14/5 and a few blocks and steals.. my god!

For the first time I can say I think the T-Wolves have an actual chance to win a championship... their off-season was amazing.

Thankfully those that select the MVP don't rely wholly on statistics.

Excellent work Coxy.

So far we've ascertained from Yze_Tragic that both Kidd and B-Diddy are "awful" ballers, whilst Utah have the most efficient backcourt in the league.

Next he'll be telling us that Greg Ostertag has the best hairstyle in the league.

'Tag has the best haircut in the NBA by about this much:

Tim Duncan will come home with the booty. You know this, man.

IMO its KG by some distance. Kidd has led his team to a dodgy record in the uselesss East while KG has led the T-Wolves to an extremely strong position in the toughest division and conference in the league. Kidd though is the only one with a shot, I cant think of another player who has had a truly outstanding season.

The Nets have won 12 of their last 13, with Kidd averaging 24ppg over that period.

KG, easy

KG by that far it's ridiculous.

His concistency has been incredible and, while Duncan's a talent, I reckon KG deserved at least one of his MVPs.

Before this season the query was whether he was just a good player in a bad team, but his play has only improved. He's a machine.
