The match day report laid against Geelong's Steve Johnson for engaging in rough conduct against Melbourne's Ben Holland was reviewed. The panel said while Johnson made contact with Holland's head, there was only miniminal force and his action therefore did not constitute a reportable offence and no further action was required.

Contact between West Coast's Daniel Chick and Sydney's Michael O'Loughlin from the second quarter of Friday's match was reviewed. The panel said both players grappled with each other. Chick grabbed O'Loughlin's jumper and pulled and then pushed him. While contact was made to O'Loughlin, Chick's action was seen as a pushing motion, rather than a striking action. No further action was required.

Contact between Geelong's Steven King and Melbourne's Jeff White from the third quarter of Saturday's match was reviewed. The panel said King and White contested a boundary throw-in, with White positioned behind King's left shoulder. The ball fell towards the right side of King and, as the ball was dropping and the area was clear, he swung his right foot to kick the ball as it fell. At the same time, White moved towards the ball to hit it with his left hand. King missed the ball and his right lower leg made contact with White's face in the follow-through. At no stage was King looking anywhere but at the ball. Despite the terrible injuries suffered by White, the contact made by King was accidental and therefore was not a reportable offence. No further action was required.

Contact between the Kangaroos' Glenn Archer and Port Adelaide's Warren Tredrea from the first quarter of Sunday's match was reviewed. The panel said Archer swung his right arm towards Tredrea as Tredrea bumped him. The force involved in Archer's action was deemed to be below the level required to constitute a reportable offence.

For charges laid by the Match Review Panel, clubs and players have until 10am tomorrow, Tuesday September 6, to decide whether to accept the penalty allocated, or to contest the case.

Was worried about Johnno, thought he may get unlucky and get a week. personally I thought it may have been worth a reprimand, but I'm stoked he got nothing. :D

I'm relieved.

Wasn't concerned about King's incident but Dog's was a real worry. Glad he got away with it, but i wouldn't have been up in arms had he been reported.

Was never worried, there was no way neone could suspend either player for the incidents, both were free kicks and nothing else.
