Will they be available next week?

King was going for the ball but boy it was crude. Poor Jeff White :(

The SJ hit on Holland I think was pretty soft and I don't think he really connected in the end but it was a dangerous thing to do.

Step up and spin the wheel boys.

Nothing in either one. Johnson was a deflection of the guy's shoulder, and as for the karate kick I reckon nobody was more surprised by it than King himself.

I doubt Kingy will come under too much scrutiny. We all saw it, from my point of view he had eyes only for the ball and was just trying to clear the ball from the stoppage, however, what i see could be completely opposite to what the tribunal see :(

Yes, i would have to agree. I was sitting directly in front of the incident and noted that Kingy has eyes only for the ball.

It will be interesting to see how the AFL handle this one. It the suspend him, the GFC should appeal.

Well done boys!

Niether should go. Speaking about Johnson's game however, his attitude was completely different to last week's. Looked very lazy, uninterested and reckless. He needs to change it around for next week.

Reminds me of an incident I saw in a VFA match about 7-8 years back when a bloke tried to kick the ball of the ground and only managed to kick the ball.

Poor guy had his leg broken in 2 and the kicker got about 10 weeks!

I was surrounded by dees fans and none thought king was reportable, just an unfortunate incident. Johnson should have no case to answer as well.

None of the Melbourne players had a go at King.It was an unfortunate accident.

As for SJ.It'll be withdrawn.

I'm not worried at all about Kingy, but am concerned about Johnno. The hit was high and was unnecessary, however there was very little, if any, damage done to Holland and he was in control of the ball. I think he'd be stiff to get suspended, but will probably get at least a reprimand.

Similar thoughts to WestCat.

King shouldn't have a problem. It was a genuine accident, there was no intent and that sort of kick happens every week. Unfortunately for all concerned, Jeff White came into the scene mid-kick and copped it.

Dog's was very soft given he only made contact with an arm, and it was minimal contact at that, but the intent was there.

No different to the Moloney case earlier in the year.

Both will be fine, teh only probs with Kingys was that he'll be feeling so guilty, hes just that kinda guy, where as SJ's was a very soft blow and nothing will be made of either.

That was my initial thought as well, but Holland was not hurt in the incident and had control of the ball. This is why I think he'll only get a reprimand. Didn't Moloney fight his case and only get 2 weeks?

Fair call.

What weight does the resultant injury carry on such reports?

Neither of them will go. King's was purely an accident, Johnson's was soft, free kick and nothing more.

Did anyone hear Mark Thompsons comments about SJ in an interview after the game on K-Rock ?

It was very funny.

He said Steve thinks his tough, but he's actually not.He then said he might pick a fight with SJ,as he reckons he could easily take him.

:D

Jeff White may be in some trouble, you can't go around head-butting boots willy nilly. :P

Very bad accident and King would be feeling very bad for White right now, he tried to find out how White was after the game.

Haven't seen the Johnson incident, but I think the great thing about the weekend is Johnson didn't have a great game and we still belted the dee's, if he can turn it on this week, it'll be great.
