Hopefully they're head to head on the weekend.

2 of my favourite players. Both hard as nails. They define the words HONEST FOOTBALLER.

Who would you people prefer in your team?

I say Ling, because his kicking is reliable, Kirk's is borderline atrocious. But if Kirk played for Hawthorn he'd be my favourite player.

The Captain would be the first to admit of how blody ugly his style is, but he hits a target 99/100 times. A bloody honest footballer, will give you 100% every time and has worked his nuts off to get where he is... same can be said about the former Fat Assed Ling.

That's pretty much what Ling does too.

And i wouldn't say Ling's kicking was reliable.

Both very good players without being deadset stars. Kirk gets my nod just because he has done a bit more in his time.

i agree after this year i'd say kirk is ling a bit younger tho?
