I'm doing up my Kitchen and was wondering if anyone knew the best place to get a Gas Stovetop, Gas Oven and an electric rangehood at good prices. Went to Harvey Norman but they seem very expensive. Does anybody know any warehouses or websites that they have used and have been happy with to get the same thing, I don't really want cheap stuff but good brands at reasonable prices.

Cheers :thumbsu:

We renovated our kitchen last year. We were looking for something without a stainless steel finish. Bought a Belling 7 burner with two ovens, slow cooker, the who shebang in black enamel with matching hood. Used Camberwell Electrics.

The black is a nice contrast against the cream cupboards and timber benches.

keep alook out for auctions etc l found a 2 month old chef oven (white) elec for 200 bucks.these old people did not like cooking with elec so win for me.end of season stock is also cheaper, there are some rich folks always doing there kitchen up selling there not so old stuff cheap.scratch n dent sales could be a good place at good price.

Bizarre bump.

I recently bought a gas stove, under bench oven, side by side fridge and rangehood from The Good Guys,

Good range, fair prices, bloke to did the sale wasn't a complete cockhole. Yeah, all around good guys really.

You can save thousands if not tens of thousands doing kitchen renos if you are half handy. My best tip is to know an electrician and plumber you trust before you start. Also if you can ever do it without living in the house (same goes for bathroom) then take it with both hands. Living around renos gets old real quick.
