There still may be some doubt about Richo and Dunc, both have injuries that still may keep them out .

There is no doubt on either. Spud was just playing mind games with Geelong during the week, trying to lull them into a false sense of security!

While Richo missed training on Wednesday at the MCG, he was sprung training by himself at Punt Rd.

Duncan missed training on Wednesday due to a University exam.

The tigers have decided to drop Knighter for this week. Not sure who else is coming in or of any other changes.

Ask yourselves this question:

How much different would the season have been if Spud had dropped Knighter early on in the season when he was struggling?

Would there be a different attitude around the place now?

prety simple chris.its called club politics or hidden agenda.
would be easier on the club for knighter to make a decision on his future rather than the club.
what an easier way than to drop a loyal champion like knights on the eve of a milestone and drive that wedge in abit deeper after losing the captaincy.

knighter could have went to other clubs but stayed loyal and served the club with pride.
our season is shot so why not let knighter achieve something else before the season end.
i wouldnt blame knighter if he does a KB.

tiverndale your one lucky lad.

cheers!

It's a bit controversial isn't it?!

Knights was playing better than he was weeks before but then Spud decides to drop him now ... when he was about to play his 100th consecutive game. A bit suspect, or do you think Danny had no idea about that at all? It has certainly sent out the message anyway.

I would have dropped Tivendale first I think.

I say must it's about time Kights was dropped but I bet he isn't very happy about it.if Kights hadn't been dropped he would become the third player in VFL/AFL history to string together two separate periods of 100 successive games.this week it will be Joel Bowden's 100th successive game.

Foxhat ... Bowden had 28 possessions last week, which was more than any other player on the ground including Port players. He was certainly our best player over 4 quarters. While he clangered a few of them, at least he was getting a bit of it ... and we can't really do away with that attribute at the moment.

yes Knights is stiff to get dropped when he's playing better footy than earlier...and what about King, Sziller and Rogers ?

Anyone want to question their effect on the stats sheets. Campbo is inconsistent to, cause he can't shake a tagger.

I love the way zantuck attacks the ball....he got up Steven Kings nose for an innoccuous bump...laid out someone else ! He'd teach a few of the butters at the club a thing or two !

Coughlan and Rodan etc...are the only ones prepared to stand up now. Goodbye Sziller, King, Rogers...
