With a soft spot for the Bulls, obviously.

I don't doubt their potential, but David Clarke had potential.

As Bresh said, they are bloody well are looking at the first pick.

Second worst record last i looked.

Sorry guys, i just checked the standings... Orlando are the only team with a worse record... but i gotta say i cant see orlando winning too many the way there playing. Unless T-mac gets back to last years form there gonna get it

Watched Okafor for the first time last week, and damn, the kid has the goods.

Would like to be an inch or too bigger (wouldn't we all).

It will be a tough selection for whoever gets one, take the sure fire prospect in Okafor, or the higher risk, higher return in Dwight Howard.

I've watched Connecticut at every opportunity given since ESPN was added to the Foxtel line-up, and he definitely made you sit back and take notice. The 1-2 punch with Ben Gordon was pretty much the reason I tipped them to make the Final Four last season, and they should both be lottery picks this year.

Okafor has been reported around '6"9, '6"10, but he definitely plays bigger than that. Firstly, he's chiseled out of rock, and can only get bigger once he gets on NBA weight programs. Secondly, he's clearly the smartest player on the defensive end in the NCAA, and will be around the mark as a pro.

He's no longer a slouch on the offensive end, and has outstanding shot selection. Definitely knows his limits, although he is expanding the parameters of his offense yearly (went from 8ppg IIRC as freshmen to his current 18ppg as a junior).

If you ask me, the NBA (and more importantly the NCAA) needs Okafor to be #1 and exceed expectations. He could step into the NBA and average a double-double right now, but it's up to him to prove that he can go even further than that and become a legit 20/12/4 threat (yes, 4 blocks)... blowing the upside mirage out of the water.
