I was going through his career a bit after watching wrestlemania 19, and his match with Brock and i thought for how good he was, he never was rewarded with a big title win at Wrestlemania. He dropped the belt as champion 3 times, but never won a title match.
I wonder if that irks him, if it pisses him off that Cena has fought for the title in 7 of the last 8 manias including this one, and the only one he missed was the main event against The Rock last year.
Bit of a shame really, i think he probably deserved to win the title on the biggest stage.

He probably did, but as good as a Wrestler and an Entertainer as he is. He is too much of a w***er which counter acts that. I love Kurt, in the top 3 of my favourite all time wrestlers. But he hasn't got three brain cells left to rub together.

It amazes me that he is still wrestling with that neck of his...and is planning on wrestling til 2016.

john cena = THE guy (whether you like him or not)
kurt angle = a main eventer who was very good for a portion of his career but always on that second rung behind the really big names (rock, austin, hhh, taker etc)

similar in a way to hogan v savage, although savage was about a billion times better than angle, i just can't think of someone in a similar position at the time

I don't think that would have pissed him off, I remember he had no problem with the 'You Suck' chants during his entrance so it wouldn't have made much of a difference. At his level I think he would have been more focused on having a great match and he did that a lot (vs. Shawn Michaels WM, vs Brock WM, vs Brock (60 min Ironman Match, etc). In my opinion Kurt is one of the best and it's sad to think that he isn't more easily recognized for his part in the Attitude Era.
