Yes, both.

A terrific in and under player who gave 100% every week. His skills were not teh greatest and he lost speed towards the end but he was the sort of player you really need in a club.

But he's not gay.. He has a wife and 2 little kiddies.

Kym actually had a wife when he returned to adelaide yes, but from what I remember they are no longer together and he has another partner now (don't know if they are married).

Plus he has the most piercing blue eyes. Great player - i miss my good ol south boys no nigel, no kymie.

Wasn't his wife heavily pregnant (eg: close to dropping) at the time of the 97 Preliminary? Great player Kym, one of my all time favs. Always gave 100%.

Yes he was married but they split up. I also remember towards the end of his career he bought a cafe at Tea Tree Plaza. No idea if he still has it.

From all accounts a very nice guy. Limited skills but his effort more than made up for that.

Did a brilliant blanketing job on Peter Matera in '94 when Matera was at the height of his powers in the bulldogs first ever win at Subiaco. It was a game we had to win to make the finals and from memory Kym kept him to about 8 touches.

Kym plays at my club now, Colonel Light Gardens, hes a top bloke, he has a wife rachel, and two kids, josh and will, he doesnt own the cafe anymore, he now owns his own cleaning business called Kosterfective, one of the best blokes you'll meet
