i think i'm more after someone to put my mind at rest but, after watching the lions-bombers game last night, everyone (certainly me) MUST have been impressed with brisbane new kid henderson at full forward, and i kept thinking the swans had the chance to draft him, and he was in fact in a lot of our pre-draft discussions, but we went the smaller, midfield type (again) ... is this the case or am i mistaken?
i don't normally dwell on drafts and players we miss out on, but having seen this kid last night all i could think was "darn"
he looked outstanding, real rough and ready type, strong hands, smart, a genuine goer

would appreciate any further insight or comments

Yeah, there wasn't much chance of him fall to us - he was projected to go as high as pick 5 to the Bulldogs, probably the best pure KP prospect in the draft. The saints probably had an eye on him too.

Henderson was well gone when we had our first pick. Veszpremi will be OK and the midfield looks promising with Bird, DOK and Brabazon coming on. The list still needs more height.
