Looks like Geelong are a pretty good bet for the minor premiership, especially given their %.

I've been thinking about the ladder and how it sits and how it could end up.

I reckon the Top 4 will remain, with perhaps Adelaide the other side to be a chance to sneak in.

So if we run 3rd or 4th with Geelong 1st and West Coast 2nd - obviously we are far better off running 4th than we are to finish 3rd! Game against the Cats at the G versus a game vs West Coast at Subi!

Hopefully we run 2nd and it doesn't matter, but it certainly is a pretty significant advantage to actually finish 4th instead of 3rd if Cats and Eagles go 1/2

The only way that will happen is if they remain lucky with there injuries!

I can't see the pretenders down there at Alabama, eerrr Geelong finishing on top, I tip Sydney to beat them at home this week and they'll slide down to about 5th or 6th by season end.

Say Geelong and West Coast finish 1 and 2.

Collingwood and Hawthorn compete for 3 and 4.

I would be confident against any of those teams, even West Coast in Subiaco. When we play them, we usually do pretty well against them.

Yes, but with some names yet to comeback, We're bound to be stuck in.

But first, accuracy first! A total Killing is needed! Geelong will be that lamb!

whos to say we dont get more injuries, or that our youngins break down. we have to factor in a rest for burns pendles, thomas, cloke at some stage as well!

dont want to be or sound cynical because im not, i just dont want everyone to get all excited and then if we lose a couple of games or miss the top 4 cut lose at the playing group and coaching staff.

a lot of you are under rating geelong, i think they are the real deal this year but we'll see when we play them in two

they have always been the real deal, last year was just a brain fart.

If anything, their list has improved and they were a backstabbers kick from a grand final in 2005 and probably should have beaten the Brians in the 2004 prelim as well...

The way things are looking at the momentl, I would rather play the Eagles at Subi than Geelong anywhere. Their average winning margin during this streak is like 9 goals. Sure, they might fall over, but personally, I reckon they're closer to being the real deal this year than any other.

You would think that by September we would have a full side to pick from hopefully with all defenders being fit, i would be happy to play anyone anywhere!!!

Happy to play anyone anywhere. I don't want to win and have people say we got an easy run. I'm sick of being under sold. Glen Archer plays his 300 this week and all you hear is how tough he is. We had a guy who was pretty tough to in the 90's wearing the no 26 but he gets over looked.

We never get the credit we deserve.

I'm still not happy that we're not 12-0 or 11-1.

They still got a lot more to do as you said, A LOT MORE!

It's about timing your run and getting the boys up in the business end of the season, you don't want to peak too early, not vice versa.

I'm very happy with our season to this point, aren't you?
