Admittedly i have us winning all remaining games, see's us finish on 58 points. Richmond 5th on 56, Swans 6th on 56, Bulldogs 7th on 56 and the Giants on 8th also 56. That 2 points from the Adelaide game could come in real handy...
Am happy if Norf can drop a couple, also the Tigers. 4th would be just terrific :P

I just did it. I have us 8th :D
That's losing to Hawthorn, winning our last three.
That would please me immensely :D
We just need to do our part.
The Bombers have rolled over to the Crows. 11 goals to 2 this quarter- 112 point loss. So much % for the Crows. And Norf are now winning. Carn the Saints!!

Will be lucky to finish 8th...

It seems there are only 3 clubs that can make it now - that is vying for a spot with the Cats. Us, Crows and Giants.

If the Giants lose this week that leaves two - and I think given the better percentage the Crows will have it will come down to the last round most likely. And with few injuries I think we could win that one and finish 8 th. That means we beat Saints and Pies. That all seems likely at this stage.

If Cats can get good 30+ wins over Saints & Pies and Crows get a good belting by West Coast that would really even it out.
The Dangerfield Cup will be a huge home match.

Kenny Loggins will be able to buy a new house with the royalites he'll get from all the 'Danger Zone' airplay.

Not sure WC will belt Adelaide. But I think they will beat them and Hawks will beat us - so that evens up things.

Saints played ok today so not sure we will belt them - we have a pretty young side in and Duncan out will hurt our drive.

The crows play Brisbane next week and will flog them too, pretty much means if we lose tonight and the crows beat West Coast who they play at home then our round 23 clash wont matter as we would need to beat the crows by a unfeasible amount to pass them on %. I actually think we might have a better chance of North dropping 2 of the next 3 of Freo,WB and Richmond than we do of keeping ahead of the Crows on the ladder.

Assuming we lose tonight then it is a bit of a tough run home, if the saints kicked accurately today then they would have beaten many teams, Collingwood may well turn it up for us and give us a run. I'm confident we beat the Crows at home though.

Crows winning by over 100 has boosted their percentage immensely. I fear it will come down to the last game of the year against them which may be an anti climax anyways as their percentage will probably be enough to keep them in the eight even if we were to win that one.

Unless we win tonight, which is going to be a very tough ask, I see us finishing 9th.

How anyone in their right mind can see us finishing top four is beyond me o_O

On Monday morning reading the ladder in the paper. Still glowing from our win against Sydney. I worked out there was a possibility we could finish 4th. But that'd mean a first final against freo over there. No thanks
I'd be pretty confident of us beating Richmond or dogs. North not so much as they seem to have the wood over us at the moment. One week at a time.

Thing is we might cop the game at the Dome. That changes everything.

Yeah I think overtaking nth is our best bet.

Unless the Eagles smack the crows we are just about cooked as sad as it is to say.

The Eagles don't need to smack the Crows. Just win. Crows were always going to beat Essendon convincingly. The equation hasn't changed since the beginning of the weekend. We have to win 3 of our next 4; Crows have to lose two of their next three. We'll lose to the Hawks, so we have to beat St. Kilda, Collingwood and Adelaide, and we have to hope WCE beats Adelaide. If it comes down to percentage, we won't get in because Adelaide got Essendon and Brisbane late, but that was always going to be the case.

A win puts them on 44 points. Then finish with Swans, Carlton and Dees. They could conceivably finish with 56 points which is more than enough IMO.
