Who would you take if the teams were like this and have these 2 played this season? who won??

Lakers as follows;

Bryant 6'7 (in height)

Fisher 6'1

Cook 6'10

Fox 6'7

George 6'8

Grant 6'10

Malone 6'9

Medvedenko 6'10

S. O'Neal 7'1

Pargo 6'1

Payton 6'4

Rush 6'6

Sampson 6'11

Walton 6'8

Kings as Follows ;

Bibby 6'1(vs Fisher)

Christie 6'6

Clark 6'11 (vs Fox)

Divac 7'1 (vs Shaq, great matchup)

Funderburk 6'9 (if him and Malone were on him vs Malone)

Jackson 6'1 (vs Fisher if Bibby is off)

Miller 6'11

Sonquila 6'9

Stojakovic 6'9

Wallace 6'7 (vs Brayant, only 'real' match up)

Webber 6'10

Who would you take?

Kings by about 12 for me

That is a shocking matchup, which is why the Kings got Brad Miller in the first place. Vlade "I fall over whenever Shaq is within a metre of me" Divac would get absolutely creamed by Shaq Daddy.

I don't know what you've done here but it seems you have Fox playing on Keon Clarke

Overall the Lakers are better overall IMO, anchored by the big fella.

C Shaq-Miller (Shaq easy)
PF Malone-Webber (Webber, but Malone can hold his own)
SF Fox/Cook/Medvedenko-Stojakovic (Stojakovic)
SG Bryant-Wallace/Christie (Bryant easy)
PG Payton-Bibby (Even)

The Kings have a deeper bench, but I don't see that been such a problem as the Lakers will always be able to have a superstar on the court.

Lakers by 10

i would give this to payton .Bibby is only known for having a good play-offs a season ago.He was in a contract year and the kings made a mistake and gave him a big contract.Sounds like they were shopping him a bit over the summer but no takers.

I actually think the Kings would beat the lakers in a 7 game series because of their depth.Being able to bring Clark,Jackson, miller(or Divac)and wallace doesn't give the lakers any rest. The Lakers series will rely on Shaqs big toe.

I can't see Clark hanging around.

He cut up rough last year at having to split time with just Vlade, now he's got to contend with Vlade and Miller.

Maybe, but Payton is old and I think Bibby still has some improving to do. Maybe a slight edge to Payton as I'd rate him ahead of Bibby at the point, but not overly much.

Yeah, last I heard Webber is out until December.

Shaq vs Miller: Advantage Lakers.
Webber vs Malone: Advantage Kings
Peja vs Fox: Advantage Kings
Bryant vs Christie: Advantage Lakers
Payton vs Bibby: Tough one. I'll give it to the Kings.

Bench:
Fisher: Will be interesting to see how he goes with limited minutes. He's **** anyway.:p
Cook: Long way off.
George: Athletic, but hell he is streaky. Meh.
Grant: Decent, but age has caught up on him. Will be okay for 5 minutes p/game.
Medvedenko: He's tall.
Pargo: Scrub.
Rush: Has potential. Can be good when given minutes.
Sampso: Scrub.
Walton: Scrub.

vs

Clark: Doubt he'll be back.
Divac: Gun. Will be good relieve for Webber and Miller. Can still ball.
Funderburke: Severely underated. Great battler.
Jackson : One of the best in the business. He will have a great season and I can't rate him any higher.
Songaila: Don't know much about him.
Wallace: Will be better this year for his experience.
Jim Jackson: They'd be silly not to re-sign him, but the Wolves are circling.

The Kings have lost some depth (Turkoglu, Clark, Jackson), but their bench is still superior.

Too early to tell, you cant tell how good LA will be until you see them play together. If they gel they should be extremely good but if they dont they could be horrible. Plus Kobe could be in jail so it's all too early to tell. Right now though I would tip Sacramento because I know they play extremely well together and the signing of Miller can only make them deeper and better.

Bring this back up a few months into the season.

You can scrap Keon Clark as he has been traded to Utah. I think resigning Jackson is a must as they have lost a bit of depth at 2 and 3 with the loss of Hedo.

Still its a pretty good team and Wallace will see more game time and might come on this year. Kings do have one of the best if not the best PG combo in the NBA.
