Are we all looking forward to the game tomorrow?

The way the Lakers are travelling at the moment and I can give you one reason why... NO Shaq NO Lakers... I can see the Washington Wizards winning easily...

Take a line bet with Wizards winning by over 6 points should be paying 2-1...

Theres no way in hell the Wizards will win...

Expect Kobe to absolutely demolish that ugly kid known as Stackhouse, and that has been known as Jordan.

The Wizards frontline shouldnt give the Lakers too many headaches...

Lakers by about 15-20

Carn the Lakers! :D

I dont think it honestly matters what the Lakers do....No Shaq, No Lakers.

It all comes down to the wizards...play like they did in the opener and they will lose. Play like they did against Boston and they will win.

Go the Wiz!

wizards over the lakers 100-99...

thanks to a j.stackhouse buzzer-beating dunk~

I saw the first half and Larry Hughes has matured a fair bit, as has Lue.

George was good once again from what I saw.

Someone tell Samaki Walker he looks stupid in a headband.

Yeah I thought Hughes looked pretty good.

Damn, doesn't Jordan just defy age?

He is 40 aint he?

9 for 14 shooting for 25 points.

He totally schooled Kobe with that fade-away he got on him.

Nice finish at the end. The Lakers focused too much on Jordan but forgot about Stack.

The Wiz have potential to get a 50+ end of season record.

He shouldn't have
He follows MJ not the Wizards, and MJ faltered when it mattered in this game. Lucky Jerry bailed him out ;)

I should have...the Wiz won and Jordan played well! Not sure what Jordan is doing with his free throws...you would think one thing not to be affected by age would be free throws. Ewing, Magic, Bird, Thomas could all come back and still hit free throws...yet MJ this season is struggling from the line? Im sure he'll fix that up though. He is concious of it as he said in the post game interview.

Great play to win the game. Jordan play's the decoy and draws all the D to the weakside allowing an easy give and go from Stack and Russell for an easy winning dunk. I read in the recap that Phil Jackson knew that was what the Wizards would do and said George failed his task of sticking with Stack. I think that's a cop out. If he knew they were going to go to Stack then why was Kobe on Jordan, the Lakers best defender and why did everyone get drawn to the weakside where MJ was?

Everyone in the building knew it was going to Mike...well except the Wizards. Good coaching I thought.

But yeah, fantastic game. The Wiz still have a few problems, we blew a big lead against the T-Wolves and lost the game and then we almost blew a big lead and lost again. Need to find some composure out there on the floor. Took some silly shots though down the stretch. One play the Wizards went to the post and to the second year veteran...Kwame? Why werent they giving it to MJ or Stack? Strange.

Will be totally different once Shaq is back though. Haywood wouldnt have ruled on the boards like he did but a win's a win.

Go the Wiz!

My Bulls got blown out :( PLAY C&C GOD DAMMIT!

When Jordan was hitting all those jumpers, I was thinking to myself, 'I bet Jod is creaming his pants right now'

I was :D As soon as I saw him nail his first jumper...I thought "It's on!"

He obviously geared himself up for this one against the reigning champs and Kobe. Kobe and Jordan guarded eachother on a few occasions too, very entertaining stuff. Jordan again proving at almost 40 that he is still very hard to stop.

Geez...dont know about 50+ but with Brown improving in leaps and bounds and my main man Haywood doing his thing, they should play in the postseason.

Oh and did anyone catch Sean Elliot and the other commentator whose name escapes talk about 40+ point games. Kobe in over 400 games has just 9 :D Jordan in the same stretch had 90 odd.

Next Jordan my ass :D

I reckon Haywood is a real decent Center and is always going to contribute or a good 30 odd minutes.

Well your the only other person I know who rates him. He is a defensive centre who fills the lane, blocks shots and grabs boards. He provides the Wizards with a real inside presence. Not a huge offensive weapon but he can score by getting into the right positions for a good pass and an easy dunk or getting to the correct spots on the floor for putbacks or tip in's. He has a good basketball brain.

Will be pretty valuble for the Wiz this season.

True. When you have guys like Stackhouse, Jordan, Hughes and Russel, the center doesn't have to be Patrick Ewing. All he has to do is focus on rebounding, defense, screens and he should pick up a few points along the way.

No doubt and that's exactly what he did against the Lakers. He was grabbing offensive boards, getting easy dunks from drive and dish's from Stack and Jordan, blocking shots. Just doing his thing. He doesnt need to be an offensive weapon with Stack, MJ, Hughes etc etc
