Was just wondering how much batteries for laptops generally cost? I think I may need a new one...
Having been on the road nearly constantly (or at least on a semi-regular basis) over the last several weeks, I've had to run my laptop on battery in order to write articles to be filed, and now when I get home to charge the battery, it's not going above 30%, and certainly not by much.
So methinks it may be time for me to break down and buy a new battery, but I'd like to know how much I can expect to budget for it, and where to get it.
Oh, and the laptop in question is an Acer TravelMate 524TX, 2001 model...
I'm sure that there are plenty of retailers in and around the Ballarat area who would sell the batteries for my laptop, and I'd even be willing to make a trip to Melbourne to get one if need be.
