Probably gawn but we'll no by tomorrow I suppose.

I'm thinking of standing for parliament meself at the next election - so much incompetence around it wouldn't be hard to appear to be a genius in this company.

Anyway, Latham fell victim to the Howard doctrine of do bugger all for two and a half years and then promise the world in an election campaign.

Apropos of nothing you are a tool greg for quoting yourself incidently. Not like you made any sense in the first place.

This from Milosevic's apologist. You are one sick dog. Go talk to your mate glider2003, you have a lot in common.

Victim of his own incompetence and pigheadedness. And Howard wasn't the only one promising the world.

Has he or the resort acutally said he was there? er no.

Gloating ignorant people.

Leave the poor man alone.
Talking of ignorant:

As if the hotel are going to confirm it. Their credibilty for discretion would be out the window. But you can almost guarantee they would have denied it had he not been there. And as for leaving him alone? What goes around comes around.

GOLD MEDICARE?

How about that for a joke!!!!!!!!!

Which is what the ALP is at the moment. Bill Hayden could have won that election, but not the luminaries that are the ALP "leaders" at the moment.

WHich isnt a bad thing of course.

Ah.. you do know how we laugh at you don't you?

You NEO-COMS have to amuse yourself somehow, after all apart from Cuba and North Korea, your sphere of influence has almost shrunk to nothing.

Maybe you two goats can argue about which of your idols has murdered more people, Milosevic or Stalin.

How's Kosova going?

Who are you Nellie Melba?

Go and look at your photo album of corpses of Slobo's innocent victims and reminisce about the good old days of being a red-flagger.

The only good communist is a dead one.

I cant believe how so many people are willing to believe the testimony of a talkback caller in this situation... Chances that the talkback caller is a Liberal supporter merely trying to damage the reputation of the Labor party are pretty damn high.

Someone before said that should a person who gets ill so much run the country??, Well i guess the same thing can be said about John Howard, Should a 67 year old man in a country with an average living age of 72 be running the country...

Chances of Latham quitting are pretty slim unless his tests are very very very grim. I for one thought he was doing a pretty damn good job as Opposition leader and has really been hurt by the incompetence of the people in his party rather then his own incompetence. The only person who could really replace Latham is Kevin Rudd, and i think most would say that Latham is alot more competent then Rudd.. I dont know why people are comparing Lathams approval ratings with Howard. He wont be contesting the next election against Howard so how are they off any relevance. It would be like comparing approval ratings with Bill Clinton and George Bush... The only approval ratings that matter are those between Latham and Costello and most of them will show that Latham is preferred ahead of Costello..

In my opinion people are saying Latham is incompetent because thats what the media are saying. If you see him in parliament, you would see a strong leader, probably the best opposition leader i can remember.. one who will wipe the floor with the next Liberal leader without doubt..

Ok, enough of your stupidity already. I've seen enough over a few threads now. The idiot beacon is wailing.

1. The ALP have not denied his hotel stay. Surely they'd deny that straight off the bat.
2. The hotel haven't denied (nor confirmed) his stay. They'd probably deny it had he not been there.
3. More than one person has claimed they saw him.

Chances are he was there.

Someone before said that should a person who gets ill so much run the country??, Well i guess the same thing can be said about John Howard, Should a 67 year old man in a country with an average living age of 72 be running the country...
That was me. You seriously don't think you can compare the health of the two do you?

If Latham has been instructed by his doctor that he can't be in contact with the ALP and his senior ministers he's not fit enough to be PM and therefore leader of the Opposition.

Chances of Latham quitting are pretty slim unless his tests are very very very grim.
I'd say there's a few other factors as well such as lack of support and pressure from within the ALP.

I for one thought he was doing a pretty damn good job as Opposition leader
Emphasis on "one".

and has really been hurt by the incompetence of the people in his party rather then his own incompetence.
Not only does the buck stop at Latham, but he ruled the ALP with an iron fist. The pighead failed to take other people's advice. All the incompetence is his I'm afraid.

The only person who could really replace Latham is Kevin Rudd, and i think most would say that Latham is alot more competent then Rudd..
We know one's incompetent but the other is an unknown quantity.

I dont know why people are comparing Lathams approval ratings with Howard. He wont be contesting the next election against Howard so how are they off any relevance.
Don't count on it. Howard may eb eyeing off Menzies.

The only approval ratings that matter are those between Latham and Costello and most of them will show that Latham is preferred ahead of Costello..
Bollocks.

In my opinion people are saying Latham is incompetent because thats what the media are saying.
Might just have something to do with his huge election loss, glaring mistakes, and lack of support within the ALP.

If you see him in parliament, you would see a strong leader, probably the best opposition leader i can remember..
Well you are only 12.

one who will wipe the floor with the next Liberal leader without doubt..
Idiot meter has gone into overdrive.

Hey one trick pony, time to find a new tune.
How's Osamas mates the KLA going?

He's the Opposition leader. How hard would it be to send out a quick message of condolences?

To me it says as much about the party as the leader. If Lathams illness is true, and there is no reason to believe otherwise, then surely someone in the ALP could have issued a quick press release regarding the tsunami. They are a rabble.

According to ABC Am this morning the Labour Party did do a press release about the tsunami.

They read it out on the radio, times and dated I assume.

Spindoctors at work.

Setting him up so that he is "forced" to resign the leadership due to "illness".

Bit sad as he was such a big imbecile he was mildly amusing.

And of course the ALP has a lot of natural leaders in its midst to replace him! :D :p

HEH HEH. And with his haircut you could see the lobotomy scars.

From Channel 10's news tonight

Latham has come out and said he is staying on as leader, yet is going to fight his illness and the leadership speculation.

He will remain rested until returning to work on January 26.
He only said that doctors have advised him to rest. He never stated that he would be staying on as leader.
