Matteo's red card was for second bookable offence, he needs a break anyway and a suspension about the only way you can keep him off the pitch.

Looks like 3 points is gone, today was the perfect opportunity to get out of the bottom three.

Disgraceful.

Chance to move out of the relegation zone and we blow it and put ourselves right back into the mess.

Time for some changes. Ian Harte and Gary Kelly were terrible, but they weren't alone as very few can hold their heads high after today.

We go 1-0 up, then a freak own goal and we fall to pieces.

FINAL SCORE 3-1
THEY WERE A ****ING DISGRACE TODAY, HOW THE **** WE CAN LOSE TO **** LIKE WOLVES IS BEYOND ME. THERE'S ENOUGH ****ING TALENT IN THAT TEAM TO BEAT ****ING WOLVES. EVEN IF WE DID HAVE SOME TRANSFER FUNDS WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD JOIN A RABBLE LIKE THIS. WE'VE GOT THE YIDS SOON, WIN THAT OR THE CHANCES OF GOING DOWN WILL HAVE DOUBLED THEMSELVES. KELLY OUT - RICHARDSON IN

Ditto.

Also, Harte out - Olembe in.

Anyone would think reading this thread that Leeds are a vastly superior team to Wolves.

Sure it was a bad result, and it might be a costly one, but it was a match between two teams down in the relegation zone, both deservedly so.

The Irish Roberto Carlos. But at least RC can outrun a tortoise.

So true. His lack of pace, agility and defensive ability led to Wolves hitting the lead early in the second half. He allowed Newton to get past him easily and pick out Iverson.

The ability to execute a decent free kick once every 6 months should not guarantee you a game each week.

There's only so long Eddie can persist with the long serving players who aren't up to it anymore.

The funny thing is there are others who are more than capable with dead ball situations such as Viduka, Milner and Smith. I commend Hartey for never cracking the sads when he's left out of the team but he really has cost us the last few seasons. Olembe would not only go a long way to solving our defensive problems on that side of the pitch but he also gives a bit of run going forward.

Kelly had a bit of a resurgence last year but he's fallen back again, time for Richardson to get a run.

Obviously ****ing not... Hello Div 1!

Err thanks for the constructive input... football isn't just about talent, sadly it seems we don't have the bottle for a fight against the lower teams. We go alright against the better teams (Chelsea, Fulham, Charlton) but always seem to be lacking something against the rubbish.

Not doubting Gray's managerial ability but surely he could look beyond the non loan players. Surely, given an extended run, a WC winner like Junior could adapt to the PL?

What is the bloody point of fighting hard to salvage points in previous games against higher teams and then to drop the f*cken bundle against the last places team!?

That's how I feel.

I can't understand Olembe's omission from all the games we have played since Eddie took over. Looked right at home at Left Back which was amazing considering he has been predominately a central midfielder. He's quick and as you said, offers us something going forward. He has been the pick of the overseas loanees that Reidy brought in.

Agree about the dead ball takers. Viduka is more consistent than Harte, Milner isn't bad for a youngster and Smithy put in a free kick against Gillingham in the FA Cup last season, so we have the players there. Hartey just can't cut it anymore.

Kelly is the same. EG brought Richardson back to play first team you would assume, but he has only been on the bench for a handful of games and hasn't had a run. Look at Kilgallon and how he has handled his first few matches. We need these kids should we have to sell in the transfer window and they need experience.

You guys all sound surprised by Leeds downturn in form. I am a Leeds fan through and through, but from the moment the realised that their were money problems and starting selling players of good quality for no apparent reason this was bound to happen. Fair enough there have been extenuating circumstances that have led to some of the players leaving, but some have had no choice but to go for the right price.

Look at this side:

GK
Robinson - Martyn

Defence
Matteo - Harte
Ferdinand - Radebe
Woody
Mills - Kelly

Midfield
Kewell - Milner
Dacourt - Seth Johnson
Bowyer
Pennant - Bakke

Forwards
Smith - Keane
Viduka - Fowler

Now, if Leeds had not have lost any of those players listed above and that was the squad to pick from then the club would be in a much better state than it currently is. My apologies if I have forgotten any other players sold recently.

However, I am not blaming the club for this, as Nigel Martyn, Rio, Danny Mills, Harry Kewell, Oli Dacourt, Lee Bowyer all held the club to ransom to get the deals they wanted as well as as good as refusing to remain at the club.

Woody, Fowler and Keane were all sold against their will, although I don't really think Keano objected too strongly. Although, I was at his last match, the sale had not been announced yet, not really even spoken about and he was waving to the fans and came out and did a massive juggling display and then did a lap of honour to thank the fans, seemed a bit emotional.

I would be rapted if we finished 15th, at the time of writing I was incredibly frustrated that we lost to Wolves

I think you're been a bit harsh on Nige there, he stuck around for a season in the reserves and didn't complain once while also helping out Robbo. While I don't think he was too dissapointed to move to Everton and get first team action I don't think the move was of his own actions. Rio left for money and success, Mills was loaned out cos Reidy was ****ed with him (and fair enough IMHO). Kewell, you can probably guess what I think of that ****.

Dacourt started pushing for a move as soon as we fell out of the Champions Lge, Lazio made a 15m (or thereabouts) offer I think but he turned that down because Lazio have a strong racist background. Under Venables he was man of the match (for me) against Newcastle and Man. Utd before Venables decided to drop him. Dacourt then said in a French newspaper we're not playing as well as we can (which was true), British tabloids do a dodgy translation and the rest is history. Off to Roma for a fraction of what was offered 18 months earlier. He was one of my favourites and while he was pushing for a move Venables well and truly ****ed up. If he kept on playing him until Jan. I've no doubt his performances would have impressed and we could have got a decent fee for him.

Bowyer would have signed a new deal had Ridsdale not been present, having said that he probably would have been sold last summer.

Yeah he was offered a new deal but Bowyer didn't want to sign purely to get back at Ridsdale for making a few unfavourable comments about him.
