Leftover Cash

Hi,

I was just wondering if there was any theory on what is the maximum leftover cash you should have left in your salary cap going into round 1. I have around $25k still on hand - is that a waste?

As long as you're happy with your team and it couldn't be significantly improved with that 25k, then it's not a waste. I actually have about 125k left, but that's an intentional strategy by me.

i recon 125 is a waste, coz this could give u one extra keeper and therefore save a trade,

what is the plan of urs????????

Trade Skippy or Krakouer up to Franklin before he plays Essendon in Round 7. And the trade that would be saved if, for example, I traded someone like Tuck for someone like Selwood, gets saved by the fact I probably won't have to sacrifice a cash cow to do it, and even if I do there will surely be enough money left over to make another upgrade. It gets me a stronger team by the end of the year and I don't lose a trade.
