Oh dear. I hope this is not true. Have to get the kids in and not have guys like Barry holding them back! This is a bad decision by the club if true. Should have said thanks for the great mark, but now it is time to finish up.

but now O just realised how well it sums him up, always their for the team, giving it all his got, body on the line, true blood spirit, absolute legend.
I want him to keep playing, and when he retires, it will be honourable and it will be a very very sad day for me.

he would of had an honourable finish this season

a retirement next season... would also be honourable but it will also carry a little bit of 'thank goodness he finally has given up'

i dont know let leo be the judge of that i guess..

i'd rather it be "thank goodness he finally has given up" then "oh no why did we not offer him another contract look how bloody clueless this youngster is"

i actually think he is in their for the moral boost for himself and younger defenders who get the play alongside him.
