You're kidding aren't ya? You're obviously after a reaction. I MIGHT be happy to see him off West along with a second round pick for a Daniel Kerr. Nothing less.
I used to be a real Leon critic but i really think he's some good and id hate to see him go! It aint gonna happen.

WTF? If WCE offer a second round pick we should jump at it and head back on the next flight we can charter. They won’t. Good grief just how good do you actually think Leon Davis is? How many really good games has he played in nearly 7 seasons? How many crap games has he played?

He has had a good year. No better than that. He is 3 years over due for this year. How he finishes it off remains to be seen but frankly I cannot recall a single game we have lost that he has been in the best few players. Please correct me if I am wrong but I can’t recall one.

I reckon you judge him harshly MarkT. He plays in the 'no mans land' position of foward pocket, and there are a number of players I would be looking at getting rid of before Davis.

He plays his role, he can often 'spark' us, and yes, I would prefer that he did more, however, the fact remains he is one of our better options as a small foward.

No doubt he has talent, he just needs to work on his consistency. And in a team where 'talent' is almost as rare as water in the Sahara, to get rid of Davis would be nothing short of stupidity.

he is injured, and has been since someone broke his leg on him. it must have hurt like crap. he was apparently limping badly the day before the freo game.

re this statement: you want it both ways don't you? When leon wins a game or helps set up a win like he has on several occasions this season he is looking good "when things are going our way". and "when we are in trouble" it's like it's his fault that we don't lose, completely disregarding the role that 21 others had in it.

i think Leon's been pretty hit and miss over the years, but saying that, he rarely is on the ground for more than two thirds of the game, he has rarely started a game on the ground. also in the last 2 seasons he has completely changed, so i think writing him off on his efforts before then is ridiculous.

when you say, "never been a fan", it says a lot and shows a fairly deep prejudice against him (i'm not suggesting anything to do with race here), the fact that you wouldn't even like or recognise a player that is doing well for your team and working his guts out so we can get into the finals. leon got bagged for his performance against richmond after he got the corky, it just shows that for some people logic just doesn't work.
