Big season ahead for Leon, has started to mature and believe he belongs and can dominate. Looks like he's starting to do the hard work and understands more about what is required: in the big show natural talent alone will only get you so far, you have to be prepared to do the hard yards.

He certainly has what it takes, just has to make the sacrifices to put the icing on the cake.

Yes Recovery, he is coming back from a broken ankle/leg and i was just wanting to see how he is now, because i know for a fact that he had one real scare during the preseason where he was in a lot of pain, close to tears thats how worried he was about it being broken again (this happened away from the training track so i didnt expect anyone to know about it).

But if he if flying now then it must be behind him, good luck to him this year really good to watch when he is on fire...oh and he is probably the only pie's player i like to watch ;)
 
He was almost as consistent last year as a oppurtunistic small forward can be imo. Every player of his type has games where they disappear, usually because the guys he feeds off are having good games.

As I said, all of the news through the pre-season is that he's been flying through all of the training, looks fitter than ever, and ready for a big season.

He did break his leg, but it wasn't a serious injury ala Nathan Brown or Matt Maguire - If he had done it a couple of weeks earlier than he did, he might have made it back for the finals.

Really? Because he generally saves his best for Freo - Some of his best games have come against your mob.
 
seen him about 2 weeks ago at the olympic hotel playing the pokies. He look very fit and looks like he has had a good summer in the gym

Lol if thats the case, he should have a great 2007! You cant say the black and white stripes are ugly... maybe a tad dull but not brown and yellow!
Checked his stats against Freo in 06, not great. 2k, 4h. Did he get injured?? Can't recall.

Nah not injured. Those stats were probably got him in the best for Collingwood that day. We got hammered!
