Lets Get Fair Dinkum...- Serious Trading!!! (aka Hawthorn)

When Guy Mc Kenna comes in and realises that we need to get more gut runners and AT LEAST ONE skillfull player into our midfield......WHO (what team) is going to have a player/players that they would give up for a choice of one of our abundance of talls? Surely the Bulldogs would look at Johns or Bradley or even Melbourne may look at them as they need another tall option in their forward line....???

I dont want to start another lets trade this for that and go after Judd/Dal Santo blah blah blah. Im intersting in some realsitic options to get some serious gut running grunt and skills into our midfield - but more importantly what club has the need that we can help with and has players we would take realistically in return....??

We are in same boat but our clown offer lonie and iles who have no value - same as bradley and johns. If you are serious about this type of player, you/we need to give up something of value, either very high pick or emerging player

Which is why I was aking for some serious suggestions - not like trade Andrew Lee to West Coast for Chris Judd and Daniel Kerr.....

Ive said this in another thread, but think James Kelly might be out of contract. We mightnt have to give up a great deal for him given Geelong's riches of talented midfielders. Might be worth a look.

What sort of player would geelong be looking for...?? - I cant see any blatant weaknesses in their team at the moment?

Go after Cameron Bruce. He is a smart footballer. We could offer Melbourne some of our talls. Don't know if the Dees would offload him though.

I don't know, but we definately need some better quality midfielders.

travis johnstone is the bloke we should be going after. he is out of contract and melbourne may be looking to do a hawthorn style rebuild.

he may only cost us our second rounder and kepler

but that might be wishful thinking

pace, class and skill. something our midfield most desperately needs
