When you call a number that is not connected there is a message from a woman, "The number you dialled is not listed. Please check the number then try again". Then she starts stringing off random letters "H, G, A..." What are these letters?

When reading "The number you dialled is not listed. Please check the number then try again" in the OP, you read it in the voice of the woman who says it on the phone.

If it's a Telstra voice message then it is Jane Holmes voice that does the message.
