His 1st preference is to play for the Eagles but good to see the young lad covering all bases.

Assuming we take Panos or Talia at 11.

I wouldnt think Jetta would be still kicking by 18.

So its a pipe dream to think he will be wearing the
Red and Blue next yr.

He probably wont slide until pick 18, but if all these davey rumours is true and we get pick 10 in the draft then we could nab him and Talia/Panos (preferably Talia) with picks 10 + 11 which would cover our losses slightly for davey and could be a really good pick up. Certainly a chance to be at the dees next year

Obviously we can close the door on any talk about this pick 10 issue...

We'd be better off grabbing a ruck or KPP for a bit of balance IMO.

Agree, we have enough of small forwards/backs and should be using an under 20 draft pick on a solid unit, particularly a CHB.

Lewis Jetta is a midfielder/half forward flanker, smooth mover and would be a great fit for our midfield and if he's available at #18 and we've got our KPF at #11 then I think we'd be mad to pass him up.

Why do we need a CHB when we have a few that can already fill the role in Garland, Rivers or Frawley?

Agreed. He would be an excellent fit for our midfield as he would provide some of that pace and skill we lack in that part of the ground. He could be the ideal link man between defence and the forward line.

However, the priority is a KPF, so I think we will use 11 to fill that void.

I believe there is a chance he will be avaliable at 18, possibly because he is 20 already. In saying that the picks between 11-18 i cant really see any club having a needs based selection which could hurt us with a few clubs possibly picking up a ready made selection in jetta to help there finals campaign

Two midfielders, a KPP at 11 and then a pacy outside player at 18 sounds about right.

Would mean that our PSD pick and/or 34 would have to be a tall though, whether it be a ruck or a KPP.

I agree unless Nathan Vardy is still around at 18, if he is then we should proceed to snap him up immediately.

Ideally I would go Scully, Trengove, Panos and Black.

But what happens if a highly rated mid slides. Maybe a Cunnington, Rohan at 11 and a Christensen or Gysbert at 18. I'm loving Gysbert game.

I know we need to go KPP for one of them but I really don't want to take a tall if there's clearly a better (even if he is shorter) player available.

If Butch's there 11, it'll be a no brainer.
