Is a very good player.

Like Morris - will do whatever is required, instinctively. And since he was freed from his tagging role, is not a campaigner to the opposition players any more either, because that is not required.

His contested skills are of the highest order - focus is purely on the ball. Will inflict or take any kind of hit required to win the contest. Does not over-commit the way lesser contest-skilled players might, resulting in losing control or giving away a free.

Can mark, can kick, and.. is probably still improving in the area of his fine skills and attacking decision making.

Barring injury will be a better player in 2017, as 2016 was better than his 2015.

There are 3 players for our club who i've watched over the years stand above everybody else in terms of courage, heart and just giving everything they have. Picken is one of those, he has gone past Daniel Cross and i reckon he is just about to pass Libba snr.
Can't wait to watch him in a GF
