He did manage clarko. Until the judas deal, clarko flicked him after that i believe. Not sure who else tho. Hes a piece of work thats for sure...

And yet Clarko and him and still good mates.

He would probably manage a couple more Hawks boys but also not sure who else.

Exactly, who on this board believes Lewis has 2, let alone 3 years left in him?
Great deal and shows that Lewis would know this is nearly to hard to knock back.

At best he's got a year/ year and a half.....at best...He's been a champion player for us...he doesn;t think he's only got a year...Hawks probably do...hence his amazing three year deal. Best is behind him. The reality of it.

The other question is the irony of 1st/2nd best and fairest winning..traded out...Clarkson wants others to step up and move forward.

Clearly wasn't for Clarko.

I did enjoy how carefully Pickering worded the Lewis situation to try not piss off Clarko and Hawthorn.
His client in that case was Franklin, not Clarko.
That shows why he is a good manager, he looks after the client who he is actually dealing with at the time, not other clients who are indirectly involved

Cool.

They both axed him shortly afterwards but I'm sure he appreciates your support.

No need to be a smart arse about my opinion, i never asked you to agree.
Play the ball, not the man

Clarko got rid of him as he said in his opinion a manager who managers players & coaches is conflicted.

Franklin didn't need him as a manager anymore as his playing career would be over by the time that contract is up.
Pickering still gets his cut from the Franklin deal until the 9 yrs is up.
He wouldn't have a problem with Franklin leaving his stable.
Franklin wanted a 'celebrity' manager for his after football career.
There are no losers there

After reading this thread, which you could do, he clearly has the majority of support.

Go on, check it out for yourself above
