Leigh Brown

I was interested to here other supporters opinions about Leigh rown.

My view that he is too slow to play back (His performance against Stewart Loewe a classic example) and at times he seems lost in the forward line. He plays at his best when he starts throwing his wieght around up forward which creates chances for the crumbers like Medhurst and Farmer. He cant be used as a target up forward because he is too slow and predictabe.

What does everybody else think?

LOL his name is Leigh not Liegh first up. He is natural defensive player, but he just seems to lack a bit of pace. Perhaps they should get a running coach in to help him improve this area of his game.

KingClive,

I totally agree. Use him as a pinch hitter up forward. He seems a bit of an enigma for the coaching staff so far this year. It'll all fall into place soon.

I think Leigh Brown would be most useful playing at center half forward. Last week Stewie Loewe exposed Brown's lack of pace which is a worry (considering Loewe isn't the quickest CHFs in the game).

Leigh Brown would be handy at CHF because he can take a good grab, fairly decent kick and can provide another avenue towards the Dockers goal.

Hows that for a reply?

Petty

To all those people who have become my spelling teacher

Why dont you do something more constructive like viewing your opinion not correcting my mistakes. If i want a spelling lesson ill go and get one!

Thankyou to those individuals who have stuck up for and were sensible to realise that it was a typo and not a deliberate mistake

And for all those looking for mispelt words........work out this one

gte a lfie!

Pretty ordinary!!!... if you go round sledging others for spelling or gramatical errors and then end up making your own blunders you come out looking the fool!

It was great to see leigh "ROY" brown start on the ground for once.

IMO he needs to play in the foward line,he just needs to find the footy more often as he only needs a few kicks to have an impact as IMO he is one of the longest/best kicks in our side.

even thou hes young his like our teams big brother, ready to stand up to any one who wants to have a go at one of his teammates, that will make him a great leader at the club.
