Personally I love the album, but I know that some LP fans are disappointed with it. LP tried to change things up to appeal to a wider range of audience and IMO they succeeded. Great album, and it's still growing on me. An article in the Melbourne paper even described their song "the little things you give away" (its a song about hurricane katrina) as their bes ever song, which is a big wrap. I was just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on it.

And also it has been announced that their next single will be "Given up"

I have to say I was a little bit disappointed in it. Yeah I read in Hit that "the little things give you away" was their best ever too. I was extremely disappointed when I heard the song. I wouldn't even expect it to be released as a single.

Given Up is a good song though. Album as a whole probably 6 1/2 out of 10. Not worth throwing out like alot of people are saying, but still not great.

I love the new album, and am a big fan. But they wouldn't have changed things up at this time. Their first album went Diamond, as far as I'm concerned they're already appealing to a wide range of audiences. Why change things up when thigs are going perfectly, but yer I didn't mind it and loved the album.
