I thought it might be interesting to look at the youngsters on our list.
These are the players of the next generation - not all of them will make it - but some will be household names in the future.

The names mean little if we haven't seen them play, however the mix of players here reflects our percieved deficiencies - mostly midfielders, a couple of key position players and a couple of ruckmen.

From the Paul Roos handbook of coaching (who must still be a big influence on Ross's coaching philosophy) and from the evidence of last season, I don't expect these youngsters will get much of a go in the seniors in 2008.

I have high expectations of Allen, Armitage and Geary all making a strong case for their inclusion into the best 22. Who do they force out?

StKildonan - you're back in town again with McQualter. Lets hope he can shed the weight and get some footy. His numbers were even dropping off at Casey, so something will need to change. Or maybe are they punting on him to continue as a tagger with Baker and Attard out of action early?
