Saturday NIght the Canberra Capitals began their defence of their WNBL Title. They beat Perth fairly comfortably, 102-65, but what was truly remarkable was the performance of Lauren Jackson. In thirty minutes on the court, she piled on 48 points, 18 rebounds, 4 blocks and 6 steals.
LJ is just the most unbelievable talent I have seen in a long time, and can I suggest when she plays in your town, go out and watch her play. There is talk that once her contract with the Capitals is over she will play in Europe, so this and next season maybe the last time we see her in Australia for sometime.
