It was all the moron Geelong members that were heaping s**t on Lloydy, mainly from level 1 on the Dougie Hawkings wing. I was on level 3 behind our goals and the Geelong supporters there weren't joining in, which seems to say a lot about your average (or below average) Geelong member. Lloydy is the heart and soul of our club and busts a gut, week in and week out. There's no way any Essendon supporter would every say a bad word about him.

i dont recall seeing scarlett do anything great or lloyd really getting beaten by scarlett. A couple of shocking kicks from lloydy though which is uncharacteristic. Hope he makes up for it next week, would love to thump carlton.

Spot on it wasnt as id Scarlett was realy damaging us on the rebound, IIRC Lloyd missed four goals very uncharacteristic as you say but its not as if he was starved on the ball and didnt get a kick, and who dosent love to thump Carlton :p..

I despise supporters booing their own players. How very Collingwood/Richmond! :thumbsdown: (apologies to Blues supporters, who just missed out! ;))

I agree that Full Forward (or either end of the ground) is not the best position for a Captain in the modern game.

Can anyone name a recent-ish Full-Forward or Full-Back Captain who's achieved team success?

I was so close to getting in a verbal stoush with some of our own supporters last night. They bagged out Lloyd non stop all night. If they could not see the difference in delivery early to Lloyd, compared to what Fev was getting, they don;t deserve to be supporters. Lloyd provided when it counted, it is not his fault if we can't hit his chest.

Just on Lloyd, Is he the hardest done by Full Forward in the league, or what? I counted at least a half dozen times he was held, pushed, arms hached, climbed on during the game. Free kicks I am sure Reiwoldt, Franklin or any other forward would be paid. Rocca from Collingwod gets screwed like Lloyd as well. Rules for some.

I'm not sure where you would have been sitting but I was at the Essendon end and the only insults directed at Lloyd came from Carlton supporters.

While on Carlton supporters I had to laugh at the sore loser who spent the third term singing the club song and carrying on everytime Carlton got a goal only to at games end threaten some Essendon guy for cheering then tried to pick a fight with the Essendon supporter's mate who happened to be a Carlton person. :thumbsdown:

The guy that sits behind me at the 'G (a supposed Essendon supporter) is like that, not just about Lloyd but practically the entire list. It's pathetic. Of course you don't have to be totally one-eyed but "supporters" like that make me sick. They should just piss off to Richmond.

I was sitting near centre wing in the Essendon reserved seats. I think it was just one group of blokes, but geez it was pissing me off.

Why would anyone consistantly bag their own side, sure when we are playing badly I might show some frustration
