load.exe msg

I have an error msg at startup which says 'can't find load.exe file', it is a left over from the nimda virus and I want to know how to remove the msg.

You need to edit your system.ini.

Find the line that says:
Shell=explorer.exe load.exe -dontrunold

Change it to:
Shell=explorer.exe

Find the file system.inni in eitehr the c:\windows or c:\windows\system directory. open it with notepad and where it says 'shell=explorer.exe load.exe -dontrunold', change to ''shell=explorer.exe'. Ie drop the 'load.exe -dontrunold' bit. Save and that's it.
