after trading for jordan mcmahon, beating the bottom four teams twice and finishign ninth again, richmond are happy with their season.

i guess thats the culture of the club. 25 years of failure and more to come..

Carlton have a far better future than Richmond and should be far happier where they are at than Richmond.

You are right, Carlton are down the bottom of the ladder yet again.. They are at home now. I would rate Carltons season a 6 out of 10, they tried hard to get bottom 4 but just missed out. Always next year you filthy dirty cheats :)

I would say we've improved, because last year we couldn't beat any of the bottom four sides apart from Melbourne.
 
Many pundits predicted a Top 8 finish for the C*nton Blues in '08 (the big improver)! These pundits also predicted a bleak season for the Yellow and Black. C*nton had reasonable odds to win the flag (somewhere in the 30's) while the Tigers were bottom with Melbourne.
Factoring in the above, it is C*nton has been more dissapointing and unpredictable than Richmond. Admittedly, they have surprised several Top 8 teams this season, but bombed out to teams below them! Very erratic, unpredictable and certainly not an 8 out of 10!!!
Bring on '09 & a R1 re-match against the C*nton Blues on a Friday night at the 'G'! Cant wait to smack them black and BLUE!!!
