Ok for anyone who loves their Britpop most would know of all the main players of the scene.

And while iv'e known about this band since 1995 alot still don't know them.

So for mine this is one band that went under alot of radars especially in Australia when in fact they put out two very nice albums in 95 & 96

That bands name is Dodgy.

Never heard of them?

Well grab a copy of the album "Free, Peace, Sweet" (their 3rd album)and i guarentee you'll end up liking more than a few songs off it.

In fact i'd have it in my top 5 Britpop albums.

Or if you are the d/l type check out these songs:

  • Good enough
  • In a room
  • If you're thinking of me
  • Pray for drinking

The other album (their 2nd album) is "Homegrown"

Another great little album with once again some great little songs like:
  • Staying out for the summer
  • Melodies haunt you
  • So let me go far
  • One day ( my favourite Dodgy track!)
It's just great easy listening melodic Britpop that should have got a bit more fanfare than it did.

Check them out Britpop fans you won't be disappointed.

Have the "Free Peace Sweet' album and it's pretty good.

The heavily "Who" influenced track "In A Room" is killer.
