several clubs have mentioned long term injuries of late. Is this pure bad luck? conditions of grounds? lack or preparation? Work Place? Sheers at Upwey out for the year with kidney damage - surely this is one out of the box or deliberate? Shippy hasnt played yet - is he going to this year? Farrugia hasnt played yet, Porter at Upwey, Muir at Warby, all big names.
With the closeness of the season predicted - big names coming back will be handy in the second half of the year. Any big names returning before the half way mark?

Shippy will definitely be playing this year, most likely sooner rather than later. No skullduggery going on. As many would know, Shippy had a workplace injury early in the New Year and he has been in recovery since. We've been careful in ensuring that his recovery and rehabilitation isn't rushed and that he only comes back in when he is physically ready to do so. Hopefully that's not too far away.

Once Shippy comes in Gembrook will be a force to be reckoned with, not that they already are'nt,He would be worth 6 goals to any side.He is a champ.Good luck to him.:thumbsu:

Porters played games, Sheers copped friendly fire and was nothing more sinister than an accident.
Have said all year and still say Gembrook are the team to beat.
Is Cam Buckland playing this year ? Haven't seen his name mentioned. If he was still to come back in with Farrugia, that makes Mt.Ev a bloody strong unit on top of what they already have.
Injuries always play a huge part in your year, it killed Monbulk in 2010. With 2011 being so even, it will play an even greater role in your teams fortunes.

I have heard Sheers (injured accidentally) will be back sooner than expected - his kidney was lacerated not ruptured - same sort of injury as Nick Maxwell. Also heard a number of Upwey injured will start back this week - probably in the reserves - not many on long term list

Gembrook with Shippy to come in will get even better, as will Warby with Muir and Mt Eve with Buckland (if playing)

Monbulk have tim francis to come back is back running now and should be three to four away.

From all reports trained the house down tonight. Is a gun and will be welcomed back with open arms I would imagine.

Can't see Van Hoorn, Davis and Porter coming through the Reserves although they are at home this week against the Wooden Spooners so this could be true and it would be hard to drop players after a few decent wins - would be sending the wrong message!!

MUIR!!! i forgot about him, how could I? Him in with Rattray and Arhamt and young Coghlan in the forward line gonna be a headache for any side. Not to forget their good small forwards thet seem to have an umbundance of... my head hurts
