Alot of talk about how good Hall has been this season at CHB. Is he good enough hold down CHB full time? Will Richmond win a flag with Hall playing CHB?

Schultz looks huge and has been earmarked CHb by Wallace. With Richo not getting any younger where will me play? Pattison must make it as a ruckman.

Gaspar (29), Kellaway (29) & Richo (30) are not getting any younger.

how do you see the spine in 3/4/5 years.

I reckon Kelvin Moore will become a reasonable backman. Got a feeling Schulz will end up being a pinch hitter at both ends, with McGuane as our FF. Pattison will make a good ruckman in 3 or 4 years. Also got a good feeling about Thursfield becoming a quality backman as well. Just needs gymwork and time.

Hopefully Wallace will target KPP this year in the draft. IMO we have enough future midfielders (Coughlan, Deledio, Tambling, Jackson, Raines, Meyer, Hyde, Tuck, Foley). I'm confident Wallace won't trade away picks, so maybe our first 2 can be used on KPP and our third a midfielder. Anyone know if Rix is a chance of being drafted this year?

I still have flashbacks of Hall in past seasons. Whilstim his biggest fan in '05 I have serious doubts if the Ray man is the longer term CHB answer. To me he looks more the 3rd tall down back.

Hall played a few reasonable games at full back early last year before going to plop like the rest of the team. Could possibly slot in there when Gaspar goes, if he is around that long. Don't know if he is still interested in going to Sydney - they may make another play for him, especially if he maintains his form.

Are we recruiting you? ;)

Hall may just have now reached the age where he "clicks" as a big man, it usually happens around 24-25 for someone of his size
In theory, his best is yet to come

I see the future with Jackson as a Midfield/KPP utility
I see Moore in Defence
I see Hall in CHB as a tall Hyde type player
I see Achibald as defence or attack
It is too early to see how Limbach and McGuane will go
Deledio may even be able to be CHF if he grows a little. Strong body, quick and great mark.

We could do with a couple more KPP kids though since we want a tall team, not one who scrambles to cover opposition talls.

We definitely need to target a couple of quality KP players. One for the forward line and one for the backline.

short answer is NO, Hally has actually been doing quite well as a tall running HBF...not strong or tight enough to be KPP...and on Moore, pity he injured his jaw, would have loved to see him get a chance, I rate him

I like Hall as the 3rd tall up back.

At full strength, if we go as Terry has earnmarked Schultz we look too tall up back:

Hartigan Gaspar Newman
Bowden Schutlz Hall/Kellaway/Graham

still think shultz is going to play forward

Agreed, won't be too long before he is too big for CHB. Generally the key defenders need to be quicker and more mobile than the guys they play against. Very little one on one wrestling in the goal square these days.

I am guessing that they have Neitz in mind (Al Lynch as well). He played some really good footy at CHB for a few years before going forward as he got bigger, heavier and slower.

Would be good if the could be a bit like Scott Lucas or Daniel Bradshaw and swing from end to end depending upon match-ups and how the game is going.
