Look out big Anthony, The Cougar is on the prowl. Looking forward to him toweling up Rocca this coming Monday night. This season has already seen many instances where St.Kilda and the players have been severely underrated only to finish up with the doubters having egg plastered all over their faces. Keep it coming Saints.:thumbsu:

I hope that Dawson gets the chance to defeat his demons next week.

Despite his lack of awareness when run down by Aker, I thought that he was really good again last night, even with Fisher not at full capacity.

I'm not sure whether Rocca will be available, but I would be disappointed if Dawson is dropped (even if for Hudghton).

Lol, Aker was like less than 5 metres away from him. No chance he should have been allowed to be that close.

And yes, if Rocca plays next week and Dawson kills him. It could just about set his career up, confidence wise at least.

There's been a few cases where players haven't heard the call to play on and been dicked for it, wouldn't consider it a lack of awareness just yet since he hasn't reached Kosi's past exploits just yet. :p

But yes, I'm looking forward to seeing the Cougar kick his 2nd league goal after depositing Rocca like he did Bazza. :D

He will smash Rocca. Collingwood would be nothing short of mad to play him. It would be like giving Dawson a free gift for being so good ("get drafted to the Saints and play league footy again! How much for this amazing opportunity? Don't ask! And we'll throw in a FREE mauling of Anthony Rocca! Call Now!").

I absolutely love Dawson's agility. I reckon he's fantastic at ground level. Moves like a rover in heavy traffic.

I reckon we should offer him to Hawthorn at the end of the year for their first two draft picks.

amazing what confidence can do. he is calm under pressure, never afraid to take a chance in the backline and is always where he should be when his opponent is going for a mark. Gave some good run forward too. An excellent pickup, our defense handled the pressure very well yesterday (and all year). Sammy Fisher had his quietest game for the year, but I think he sacrificed his own stats to nullify whoever he was on.

I wouldn't put Dawson on Rocca because if we get Fisher on him, then he'd get lots of the ball since Rocca is no chance going the other way. Would be good to put him on Rocca tho, be a great contest.

You guys have made such a strong case for Cougar Dawson the last couple weeks. He's been playing great, I have to say Im very impressed too. Question is now, does he come out when Hudgton is ready? Can we play both of them? Who would come out of the back line then?

Doesn't have to be the backline, could just rotate Ray or Gram as a permanent midfielder instead of HBF/Midfielder, could just shift the defence across one if you play both.

Holden - do you reckon Milney would have got away with what Aker did? automatic 50m penalty.

I was pleased Zac went to the ump with a bit of "WTF?", and was indicating that the tool has blown the hurry up whistle and called play on almost simultaneously.

Shocking decision, although the one penalising Cross (gifted us a goal) was just as bad.

It would have been seven weeks for Baker.

I made the comment when I came back from Telstra Dome without having watched the replay (and I sat on the other side), so apologies to the Cougar. Ever since the Barry Hall bump, he's my hero anyway...
