I take losses a lot better these days. I'm at my worst for the hour or two straight after the game. The next day I might be a little down but I'm generally a pretty optimistic person and I'm looking forward to the next game straight away.

I have a lot of faith in our boys. We're not done with just yet.

That's essentially me as well. I'm down for about an hour after the game but then I usually snap myself out of it and look forward to the next game with some optimism.

I like to think I'm realistic about our side though. I think these injuries are really going to make it tough for us from now on. I have a lot of faith that the way the side plays will stand up in September but that will only happen if the midfield starts to step it up again. Hannebery, Parker both are looking sore and teams are really starting to lock down on Jack, which makes it very difficult to get the ball we need.

Thats how i feel today

I think the fans around you make each loss different

Eg my mums a mad mad cats fan and doesnt have fox footy so i let her watch it here, friggen fantastic wont be visiting this week

I work for 2 mad hawks fans and mother in law is a passionate hawk, surrounded by hawks fans, make this week a harder loss

If we lose to say freo i know i wont hear about it

Now ive got kids i dont get as worked up, but just when i think about it ruins my weekend a bit.

On the flip side if we win im like a dog with two dicks

Losing blows but it's not always too bad, the close loses against top 4 sides weren't great but we were competitive and you could see we weren't too far way.
The manner in which we are losing though this year is a lot harder to take, just seem to be laying down without much fighting back. Not too worried about what some of the flogs on here say though, you get trashed in victory or defeat.

Having said all that though, when you've got top 4 locked in, the loss was much, much easier to take. Got over it pretty quick....The mounting casualty ward on the other hand....

2 years ago i would have sulked for days over a loss
last year i was bummed for a day or so after a loss
this year im over it by the time the final siren blows

You cant dwell on a loss for to long its just stupid
the club reviews a loss once they get home and then they move on ASAP
we have to do the same

My mum came over to watch the game here (she's a mad swans fan as well as a few on here would already know) and she made me clean my bathroom :(

The most unbearable thing about losing ( especially it it happens tonight ) is listening for a week about how we are cooled and have no chance at flag

I know it doesnt matter but yeah you cop it all week!

I just tell myself they are playing bad now so they don't peak before finals. Not sure how I will take it if they lose a final.
