Low score

At work today so came out in my break expecting to see much more of a score line.
10 mins into second qtr and only 18 pts to 12 pts.
What is the game shaping up like? What was the first qtr like? Seems by the score it must be tough weather or a tough game.

Hi Alli

The weather was pretty rough over here yesterday. It didn't look too bad on TV, but trust me it was cold, wet & windy. The boys kicked terribly in the first half but luckily after half time they came out with a better aim at the goals! They worked very hard for the win yesterday and I am sure they will benefit from the week off, although we have been playing well and to break that up is a bit disapointing!

Did you see the boys singing after the game? There was a certain young fellow with a crook knee singing with them! Did you see Ryan? Great to see him still involved even on match day.

Conditions were tricky early but once both teams got used of it we belted them.

Hawks were just more direct early whilst we were denied corridor passage.

Easy game; I did say 43 point margin in a nearby thread I think; so I was happy.

2 weeks off to ice up and get our forward setup standardised...GOD knows it needs it

Hey Kristie,

Yeah I did catch the second half of the game after work and got worried at only one point of the game which is a miracle for me!
The first thing I noticed when they were singing after the game was that Fitzy was there (and all dressed up looking mighty fine!) he probably needs to be at the games now he is co-hosting Crow Zone.
Yep can't wait for the Melb game, and there is the dinner auction in Melb that night too. You should have organised to come to that with us all?

On a different note, have you been able to get into our Melb Crows Supporters Board? I keep getting an error message.

Yes Alli, I was thinking about the auction last night but it is probably sold out and anyway I am coming over by myself this time so I don't have anyone to come with me!

Ryan looked very nice and that cheeky smile was evident once again!

Yes! I did get them at the end of last week! Thank you heaps.....thanks for the photos too. Ryan has a weird look on his face (?) I will give you the money at the Melb game ok.
