Hey everybody i was wondering doesn't Luke ball's contract finish at the end of the year? he signed a 2 year contract in 2010

Nup. Signed a 1 year extension on his original contract last year for allegedly $60/$100k for the year. He understood he had a heavy front loaded deal to get him to the Pies ($1m over 2 years) and evened out the deal over 3 years. Roughly $360,000 per year over 3 years.

Contracted until the end of 2012. Wont be going anywhere anyway. He is loved by the club and appears to love the club. Has fitted in like a glove.

I think his contract ends next year. I may be wrong though. He's been a great pick up for us though.

I thought that it was a 4 year contract. 1.2m in the first 2 years (as it was his asking price) and then 70-100k in the last 2 = approx 1.4M over 4 years
