Luke Jackson has become the latest in a long line of average players that the mighty Cockburn Cucks have chased and paid top dollar for, only for him to turn around and tell them to GAGF a few seasons later.
Jackson joins other storied players who Fremantle have recruited, only to depart out a few seasons later. It’s a long list, featuring names such as:
- Chris Tarrant (recruited from Collingwood, played 72 games for Fremantle before returning to Collingwood)
- Blake Acres (recruited from St.Kilda, played 45 games for Fremantle before being traded to Carlton)
- Trent Croad (recruited from Hawthorn, played 38 games for Fremantle before returning to Hawthorn and winning a premiership)
- Josh Carr (recruited from Port Adelaide, played 83 games for Fremantle before returning to Port Adelaide)
- Bradley Hill (recruited from Hawthorn, played 54 games for Fremantle before being traded to St. Kilda)
- Jesse Hogan (recruited from Melbourne, played 19 games for Fremantle before joining GWS and winning a Coleman)
- Rory Lobb (recruited from GWS, played 66 games for Fremantle before retiring to become a TikTok star)
#concerning isn’t it?
Reports suggest Fremantle had the sick water slide installed at their Cockburn training facilities to try and stop the revolving door this joke of a club has become, however with Jackson now expressing his desires to return to Melbourne, Simon Garlic is reportedly tearing the water slide down himself.
More to come.
